The converted electric field in the seismoelectric effect can be used to monitor salinity of reservoir. Compared some conventional excitation methods (e.g., Monopole source), response law borehole shear-horizontal transverse-electric (SH-TE) waves fluid is unique. In order explore its physical mechanism, we study influence on SH-TE wave fields this paper. First, analyze field, simulate for different levels inside and outside borehole. Then case a radial discontinuity borehole, interface by secant integral method.
